Since joining Phoenix in 2012, as the VP of Business Development Evan has increased the variety and size of Phoenix’s revenue sources and has drastically expanded Phoenix's market reach. Evan holds a BS in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Iowa, an MS and PhD in Medical Physics, and an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Evan has extensive experience with computational modeling, ion beam transport simulations, and particle accelerator design. He has also worked in the venture capital industry evaluating technologies in the physical and life sciences and has served as a consultant for several technology development firms.
Director of Sales
Katie joined Phoenix in January of 2017 to lead industrial business development efforts for Phoenix’s commercial particle accelerators and neutron generators for use in applications such as: neutron radiography, semiconductor processing, IED detection, radiation survivability testing, materials analysis and nuclear materials calibration and detection.
Katie holds a BS in Physics from Hillsdale College where she worked on deep space astrophotography techniques. Prior to her work at Phoenix Katie worked in additive manufacturing, medical imaging, custom computing and industrial preventative maintenance.
Director of Government Sales
As Director of Government Sales and Business Development, Brad leads US and foreign government business development efforts for Phoenix's accelerator systems in application areas such as explosives, nuclear material & contraband detection, radiation effects testing and neutron radiography.
Brad holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University and a MS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to joining Phoenix Brad spent 12 years in progressive roles with General Electric's nuclear energy businesses. His most recent role was as Product Line Leader-Advanced Programs for GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy where he held P&L responsibility for a diverse product line including neutron radiography, isotope production & encapsulation, and nuclear reactor water chemistry. He has been inventor or co-inventor on 10 issued or pending US patents related to medical isotope processing and led the team receiving the 2011 Nuclear Energy Institute's Top Industry Practice for Leadership and Vision.
