LabVIEW is a systems engineering software used for test, measurement, or control projects.
In February 2015, Casey Lamers, Phoenix's Senior Control Engineer, was recognized as a LabVIEW Champion. According to National Instruments, a LabVIEW Champion is a "top tier, National Instruments Platform enthusiast who has been recognized by National Instruments for their exceptional application development, technical depth and breadth, and leadership contributions to the LabVIEW community." Casey is one of only 80 users to join the prestigious LabVIEW champion family.
Casey has been the leader of Phoenix's system architecture for six years. He uses LabVIEW, LabVIEW Real-Time, and LabVIEW FPFA with National Instruments cRIO to write the controls software used in Phoenix's labs.
