Director of Sales
Katie joined Phoenix in January of 2017 to lead industrial business development and marketing efforts for Phoenix’s commercial particle accelerators and neutron generators for use in applications such as: neutron radiography, semiconductor processing, IED detection, radiation survivability testing, materials analysis and nuclear materials calibration and detection.
Katie holds a BS in Physics from Hillsdale College where she worked on deep space astrophotography techniques. Prior to her work at Phoenix Katie worked in additive manufacturing, medical imaging, custom computing and industrial preventative maintenance.
Director of Government Sales
As Director of Government Business Development, Brad leads US and foreign government business development efforts for Phoenix's accelerator systems in application areas such as explosives, nuclear material & contraband detection, radiation effects testing and neutron radiography.
Brad holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University and a MS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to joining Phoenix Brad spent 12 years in progressive roles with General Electric's nuclear energy businesses. His most recent role was as Product Line Leader-Advanced Programs for GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy where he held P&L responsibility for a diverse product line including neutron radiography, isotope production & encapsulation, and nuclear reactor water chemistry. He has been inventor or co-inventor on 10 issued or pending US patents related to medical isotope processing and led the team receiving the 2011 Nuclear Energy Institute's Top Industry Practice for Leadership and Vision.
Director of Federal Business Development
Steve joined Phoenix in May of 2017 to expand the company’s portfolio with federal agencies including Defense, Homeland Security, DOE National Labs, and others. Steve’s focus is on bringing in new technology development and transition programs and system sales that advance the state of the art in neutron interrogation for screening and detection, radiography, nuclear effects testing, and fusion materials research.
Steve holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA and an MBA in Marketing from Wright State University in Dayton, OH. Steve served on active duty and in a civilian capacity with the US Air Force for over nine years supporting the intelligence community. Following his government service, he has over 20 years of industry experience in product and business development with a focus on various sensing modalities and sensor systems for physical security and defense both in the U.S. and internationally.
