Position Overview:

The Document Control Manager will provide support to the Phoenix Engineering & Operations teams by performing a variety of activities to organize & control product documentation for Phoenix designed & fabricated neutron generating capital equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage the Document Control System:

  • Develop, maintain, and improve the Document Control system and its tools
  • Coordinate Engineering Change Order Implementation
  • Maintain Design History Files working with Project Managers & Systems Engineers

Manage Bills of Materials:

  • Create new & update existing bills of materials
  • Manage Product Configurations
  • Coordinate Design Change Implementation
  • Pull bill of materials reports as needed

Manage Project SharePoint pages & content:

  • Ensure the required documents are present & up to date working with Project Managers & Systems Engineers
  • Set up Item Masters in our ERP system
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a product development, quality assurance, or manufacturing environment, working with a Document Control department
  • Experience working in Document Control
  • Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Effective organization and prioritization skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
