Position Overview:

Phoenix LLC seeks an experienced receiving clerk to join our team. This position will be responsible for receiving, stocking, transferring, and pulling items to support company production activities. The ideal candidate will be able to accurately process inventory into our warehouse control system, label, locate, and stock received items into their proper location, and perform both weekly location checks, and regular cycle counts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive and unload freight
  • Verify and record contents of received packages
  • Label items with Phoenix part numbers and put in a stock location
  • Record all inventory transactions into inventory database
  • Scan and upload receipts to inventory database
  • Pick materials to support production
  • Perform weekly cycle counts and location checks as needed
  • Maintain high volume and quality of work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate accuracy with an error rate lower than 2% of transactions
  • Interact with staff to help locate stock items
  • Operate forklift and pallet jack to move items
  • Learn and use internal databases
  • Availability to support weekend and overtime shifts preferred
  • Assist with incoming inspection and release of materials and products
  • Documents inspection results and communicates failures to quality/engineering.
  • Basic shipping packaging and labeling of product for shipment.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years receiving experience in a warehouse setting
  • Ability to stand entire shift, and lift to 50 lbs
  • Valid driver’s license and state-required proof of auto insurance required
  • Ability to work accurately and independently
  • Basic math and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Proven team player with experience successfully interfacing with various departments
  • Ability to interact professionally both internally and externally
  • Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, SAP preferred
  • Experience driving forklift preferred
  • Experience working in a high tech manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience with incoming inspection preferred
  • Experience using UPS/FEDEX software/systems preferred
  • Experience creating BOL’s and packing slips for less than truck load and/or truck load shipments preferred
