Position Overview:

We develop our proprietary software at Phoenix to run our highly specialized Neutron Generator & Particle Accelerator based capital equipment. The Software Integrator is responsible for releasing new software builds to production & the field. They are also responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and reporting back issues to the design team. This role identifies UI and feature improvement opportunities and maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of testing & bug fixes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the release of software to prototypes, production units and field upgrades for multiple projects
  • Provide technical support for our production & service teams
  • Collaborate with the product development teams to understand requirements, develop test cases and plans, and manage test scenarios on new and existing equipment
  • Communicate, prioritize, and execute tests, record defects and issues appropriately, and recommend corrective action as required
  • Facilitate functional testing, regression testing, UI testing, and performance testing for all features
  • Work with engineering teams to find root cause failures on tight timelines
  • Provide development teams with suggestions for UI and feature improvements


  • B.S. Degree in Engineering or related technical degree
  • 5+ years of software testing experience
  • Effective problem solving, judgment, and independent thinking skills for troubleshooting, and recognition of acceptable, or unacceptable product quality
  • Ability to work with electronic test equipment
  • Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills
  • Experience in product development
  • Proven ability to train personnel
  • Experience with flow charting and workflow mapping
  • Database experience a plus
  • Systems Engineering/Requirements experience a plus
  • Electro-mechanical assembly & troubleshooting experience a plus
  • Willingness to travel occasionally is preferred
