The Human Resources Generalist at Phoenix will manage all aspects of the HR function at Phoenix including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance and maintaining our HRIS.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Administers all benefit functions including coordination of open enrollment, COBRA administration and maintains relationships with benefit providers.
Manages recruitment needs including sourcing and screening.
Conducts onboarding and offboarding processes as necessary.
Facilitates bi-annual performance review process and annual salary reviews.
Maintains employee personnel files.
Maintains compliance with regulations concerning employment including EEO reporting, unemployment and other governing agency requirements. Attends unemployment hearings when necessary.
Manages and tracks all employee disciplinary action.
Responds to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and civil rights complaints.
Shared responsibility for bi-weekly payroll processing for all employees.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or related field with 5+ years of experience
Working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines including benefit and payroll practices, recruitment, employee relations and federal and state labor laws
Excellent communication skills
Experience with Paylocity a plus
Ability to work with little supervision
